I had so much fun at the Halloween party that I attended this weekend. My husband and I were invited by a neighbor to attend and we really enjoyed it. It was fun to get to know other neighbors and check out the awesome halloween costumes that they were wearing. I was a little embarrassed because my husband and I were really under dressed compared to everyone else. Next year, I will know that I need to get a better costume.

I have four kids and a husband who does not like to pick up after himself. Very often and one of my biggest pet-peeves is that they just don’t like to organize their blankets at all. They just toss them on the ground or on the couch. I remember my grandma’s holiday dinners; boy could she cook! She had eight daughters, and they were great cooks as well and very competitive. We always had more than enough food even though when we all got together we were a huge bunch. There were tables and tables full of food, and of course as a child my favorite (and that of my cousins) was the dessert table. Pies, brownies, cookies and my favorite – learning how to make rice pudding! I don’t think I’ve had rice pudding since I was kid, but I loved it then. What memories I have thinking back on those days. I haven’t eaten that well since!
