Decision time for my new shower
Some months ago, we had a new bathroom installed. Typically of my budget management, we ran out of money before the shower was finished. The installation guys just laughed at me and said “call when you’re ready.” Well, I was ready a week ago and I did call them, and I must say they did a great job and now my new bathroom looks more complete. In fact, it is complete.
I say complete, there are still some odds and ends I need to get the shower ready for use. I currently have nowhere to put anything, so the guys left me a showroom brochure of all the shower accessories. Funny how they just happen to have the brochure with them; I guess they know me well, and that I would have forgotten to buy anything for storage.
I have been looking at the corner shower shelves in the brochure and there are several nice options. The best two are in chrome and teak. I hadn’t thought of teak, but their teak corner shower shelf is a light teak and looks very modern, so it has got me thinking. I have read that teak, like bamboo, is very good for bathrooms as it stands up to moisture without warping or any other problems some woods have. But then, I do love good quality chrome on solid brass, which they have as well.
One thing for sure is I need a corner shower shelf or set of shelves. In fact, I know I will not find one shelf sufficient, so a set of three shelves makes sense for me. Both the teak and chrome are available with one, two or three shelves.
I think I’ll be daring and go for the three tier teak corner shelves. Now it’s time to check the towel racks.
